Aquadyne makes the best pressurized Bead filtration...Period. This is a Model AD2000 and should be used in conjunction with a submersible or self priming pump from 1000 GPH up to no larger than a 3200 GPH pump. We need to know if a self priming or a submersible pump is to be used in conjunction with this filter. This filter is NOT recommended for outside ponds that are larger than 500 gallons in volume. It is ideally suited for indoor sytem with no plants and low organics up to 1000 gallons however

Aquadyne 2000 - Model .60B Filtration system is excellently suited to filter ponds and other aquatic habitats, but limited to up to only 500 gallon ponds or less unlike what the manufacturer says.The Model AD2000 comes standard with the Dynamax Air Backwash system that performs just like the larger Aquadyne systems except in a small footprint package for smaller water features and ponds.

This filter is an excellent performer with most any pump. You can use a submersible pump or an inline self-priming pump from 1000 GPH up to 3200 GPH. If you intend to use a submersible pump, please use the order number AD2000(S) for a submersible riser column.

The Dynamax Air Assist Backwash aggressively agitates the debris collected in the media bed and suspends it in the water column which is easily backwashed to waste, conserving water, and deep cleaning the filter media bed. The AD200 is very suitable for an excellent indoor large volume aquarium filter as well. This unit is also an excellent starter for small laboratory research applications.
